Letter: Your vote matters for Holy Cross Energy board
Holy Cross Energy has long been a dependable example of how a cooperative utility can serve its members by keeping energy affordable, reliable and sustainable.
Now, begins the annual voting to carry on this legacy.
I cannot vote in this election, so I encourage you to make the effort to get your ballot in. Why can’t I vote? I don’t own a home. I pay utilities directly to my landlord.
Still, I care. I care about where my energy comes from, how much it costs, and who represents my interests in any elected position.
We need board members who are experienced, community-minded, and forward-thinking. So, I’m supporting Kim Schlaepfer for the Northern District seat on the Holy Cross Energy board. She will continue to demonstrate leadership and vision for a clean energy future.
