Results and photos: Vail Recreation District spring short track mountain bike race series kicks off in Eagle

The first of two events in the Vail Recreation District’s spring mountain bike short track series was held on Wednesday at the Eagle County Fairgrounds in Eagle. Riders took to a short, dirt loop to see how many laps they could pedal in 20 minutes. Kids races were five and 10 minutes in length. The next event is set for May 14 at Miller Ranch Open Space in Edwards.
